1. Introduction
This API Use Policy ("Policy") governs access to and use of the application programming interfaces ("APIs") made available by Airpero LTD ("Airpero", "we", "our", or "us") to businesses and their authorized developers ("you" or "your").
By accessing or using Airpero's APIs, you agree to comply with this Policy, our Business Terms & Conditions, Business Acceptable Use Policy, and any applicable API documentation, rate limits, and technical specifications published by Airpero.
2. Access to the API
Access to Airpero's APIs is granted only to businesses that have completed applicable Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) verification and have been approved for API access by Airpero.
Airpero may issue API keys, tokens, or other credentials required to authenticate API requests. You are responsible for the security of these credentials.
3. Permitted Use
You may use Airpero's APIs solely to integrate Airpero's services into your own business systems and applications for lawful business purposes, including payment initiation, account information retrieval, and other functionality made available through the API.
4. Prohibited Use
You must not use Airpero's APIs to:
- Circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or access controls.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying source code of Airpero's systems.
- Access data or functionality you are not authorized to access.
- Build a product or service that competes directly with Airpero without prior written consent.
- Facilitate any activity prohibited under our Business Acceptable Use Policy.
- Introduce malware, harmful code, or attempt to disrupt Airpero's systems.
- Misrepresent the source or nature of API requests.
5. API Credentials and Security
You are responsible for safeguarding all API keys, secrets, and access tokens issued to you. You must not share credentials with unauthorized parties and must notify Airpero immediately if you suspect credentials have been compromised.
Airpero may rotate, suspend, or revoke API credentials where security concerns are identified.
6. Rate Limits and Availability
Airpero may impose rate limits, usage quotas, and other technical restrictions on API access to maintain platform stability and security. Airpero does not guarantee uninterrupted API availability and may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect access.
7. Data Handling
Data transmitted or received through the API must be handled in accordance with our Business Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. You must implement reasonable security measures to protect any data obtained through the API.
8. Monitoring and Compliance
Airpero may monitor API usage to detect fraud, security incidents, and violations of this Policy. Airpero may request additional information regarding your use of the API to meet its compliance obligations.
9. Suspension or Termination of API Access
Airpero may suspend or terminate API access where you breach this Policy, exceed authorized usage, pose a security risk, or where required by law or our licensed partners. Where reasonably practicable, Airpero will provide notice of such action.
10. Changes to This Policy
Airpero may update this Policy, API documentation, or technical specifications from time to time. Continued use of the API after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
