1. Introduction
These Cardholder Terms ("Terms") govern the issuance and use of virtual and physical payment cards ("Cards") made available to individual customers ("you" or "your") by Airpero LTD ("Airpero", "we", "our", or "us") through our licensed card issuing partners.
These Terms apply in addition to our general Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. Card Issuance
Cards are issued subject to:
- Successful completion of identity verification (KYC).
- Approval by Airpero and our card issuing partner.
- Applicable card network rules (such as Visa or Mastercard).
- Any additional eligibility criteria communicated at the time of issuance.
Airpero reserves the right to decline a card application at its discretion.
3. Activation and Use
You must activate your Card in accordance with the instructions provided before it can be used.
Your Card may only be used:
- By you, the authorized cardholder.
- For lawful transactions.
- Within any applicable spending or transaction limits.
- In accordance with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.
You must not allow any other person to use your Card.
4. Funding Your Card
Depending on the product, your Card may be funded through:
- Your Airpero wallet balance.
- Direct funding from a linked payment method.
- Other funding methods made available by Airpero.
You are responsible for maintaining sufficient balance to cover intended transactions.
5. Card Security
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your Card details, PIN, and authentication credentials confidential.
- Not sharing your Card, card number, CVV, or PIN with anyone.
- Notifying us immediately if your Card is lost, stolen, or compromised.
- Reviewing your transaction history regularly for unauthorized activity.
Airpero may block or suspend a Card where fraud or unauthorized use is suspected.
6. Declined Transactions
A transaction may be declined for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Insufficient balance.
- Exceeding applicable transaction or spending limits.
- Suspected fraud or unusual activity.
- Merchant or network restrictions.
- Compliance or regulatory holds.
Airpero is not liable for losses arising from a declined transaction made in accordance with these Terms.
7. Fees
Card issuance, replacement, and usage may be subject to fees, which will be disclosed to you before you incur them. Applicable fees may include issuance fees, replacement fees, and foreign transaction fees where relevant.
8. Card Replacement and Cancellation
You may request replacement or cancellation of your Card through your account at any time.
Airpero may also suspend, block, or cancel a Card where:
- Fraud or misuse is suspected.
- Required verification has not been completed.
- You breach these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
- We are required to do so by a regulator, card network, or law enforcement authority.
9. Lost or Stolen Cards
If your Card is lost, stolen, or compromised, notify us immediately so that we can block the Card and, where applicable, arrange a replacement. You may be responsible for transactions made before you report the loss, theft, or compromise, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Disputed Transactions
If you notice a transaction on your Card that you did not authorize or that appears incorrect, contact us as soon as possible. We will investigate the matter in accordance with our Complaints & Dispute Resolution Policy and applicable card network rules.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Airpero is not liable for losses arising from merchant disputes, network outages, third-party processing failures, or your failure to safeguard your Card and credentials, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Cardholder Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our card programs, card network rules, or applicable law.
The latest version will always be available on our website and mobile application. Continued use of your Card after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
